When a child causes hurt, we’ve got to do something but what is the most effective way to do this? Disciplining a child has become such a taboo topic and there isn’t much practical info out there on how to best practice this with children. Many people have found that the common disciplinary techniques such as timeouts, punishments and consequences don’t even work anymore, and they are at a loss as to what to do next. In this session, we will discuss exactly what to do, when to do it and how to do it so that everyone involved is as successful as possible no matter if it’s at home, in the community or in the childcare/school setting.
