1.) CLEAR EXPECTATIONS & BOUNDARIES

* The first part of the four-part webinar series "Encouraging Great Behaviour"

Research shows that Children crave structure and benefit from consistency. We can provide this for them in any environment by teaching them with expectations and boundaries. In this workshop session, we will discuss the importance of boundaries, how to create them and how to support them in any challenging situation so that you survive and the children thrive.

2.) TANTRUMS, STRESS & ANXIETY

* The second part of the four-part webinar series "Encouraging Great Behaviour"

Behaviour is communication and children express this in a variety of creative ways to get their message across. However, if the message is not heard, stress can increase for that child making it difficult for them to cope which can make the situation much more challenging. In this workshop, we will discuss how stress impacts a child’s ability to express themselves, why it happens and how we can provide opportunities to help them regulate in order for them to be able to control themselves better and communicate clearly.

3.) GUIDING, CARING & DISCIPLINE

* The third part of the four-part webinar series "Encouraging Great Behaviour"

When a child causes hurt, we’ve got to do something but what is the most effective way to do this? Disciplining a child has become such a taboo topic and there isn’t much practical info out there on how to best practice this with children. Many people have found that the common disciplinary techniques such as timeouts, punishments and consequences don’t even work anymore, and they are at a loss as to what to do next. In this session, we will discuss exactly what to do, when to do it and how to do it so that everyone involved is as successful as possible no matter if it’s at home, in the community or in the childcare/school setting.

4.) LEADERSHIP & TEAMWORK
* The fourth part of the four-part webinar series "Encouraging Great Behaviour"

Children want us to guide them through life especially through challenges and in difficult situations. They look to us for the sense of physical safety and emotional security which is the best environment to grow, develop and thrive! In order to provide this for children, we must view ourselves as Leaders and work together with everyone in order to achieve the very thing children are seeking.
